A Tango Week in a stunning French Valley
Immerse yourself in the rhythm of Tango in the heart of a lush, peaceful valley in southern France.
Throughout the week, you’ll enjoy 10 inspiring workshops, homemade vegetarian meals, and long, quiet afternoons resting or swimming in crystal-clear natural pools shaped by rocks and waterfalls.
You’ll stay in one of our charming accommodations :
a cozy room in the gîte or a wooden cabana tucked gently into the greenery.
Each offering its own outdoor space to unwind, breathe, and feel held by nature.
As the days unfold, evenings drift softly into nights of dancing under the stars, embraced by music, warm air, and the joyful energy of an international group that quickly begins to feel like family.
La Frayssinette is more than a place to dance.
It is a place to breathe, reconnect, rest deeply, and live moments that stay with you long after summer ends.

Dancefloor : Where you will enjoy your practice
Right next to the main house, our covered wooden dance floor looks out over the valley.
This is where the workshops and milongas take place.
The dance floor is intimate and welcoming, allowing you to dance in a setting that is both simple, natural and friendly.
Participants come from different countries and the workshops are mainly taught in English.
You don't need to be completely comfortable speaking English to take part: demonstrations, movement and working with your partner are also an important part of the learning process.
The Céline & Alberto week is also taught in English, French and Italian.

Your stay at La Frayssinette
At La Frayssinette, each space is gently woven into the landscape.
Some rooms are nestled in the main house, close to the large kitchen that opens onto a sunny terrace and the dance floor overlooking the valley.
Further down, wooden cabanas are scattered throughout the forest, each with its own private bathroom and toilet, as well as a private outdoor space depending on the accommodation.
The cabanas offer an even more immersive experience in nature. Waking up among the trees, hearing the birds, enjoying the quiet.
Staying here means more than finding a place to sleep.
It’s stepping into a peaceful rhythm, sharing simple moments, meeting people from all over Europe, and creating memories that often feel like the beginning of a new family.

We want your arrival at La Frayssinette to feel simple and effortless.
If you have a favorite room or cabana, you’re welcome to mention it in the booking form. We always try our best to accommodate everyone’s wishes, depending on availability and the balance of the group. The earlier you send your request, the more likely we can reserve the space you prefer.
You’ll also find an option in the form to rent bed linens and towels. They are available for €10 per set and €10 per towel per person. If you choose to bring your own, we will send you the bed dimensions two to three weeks before your arrival.
It is also possible to book a cabana the day before your arrival if that feels easier for you — the additional cost will simply be added to your stay.

The river
Below the houses, the river runs through La Frayssinette. It flows over the rocks, creating small waterfalls and several natural pools.
A perfect place to cool off between workshops, read in the sunshine, chat with other participants, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet.
The river is very much part of life at La Frayssinette throughout the week.
Homemade meals
During your stay at La Frayssinette, we are committed to offering a culinary experience that reflects our values: simplicity, authenticity, and joy. Each day, enjoy a french breakfast, a generous buffet-style lunch, and a three-course dinner.
The meals in your plate are :
- 95% homemade,
- 100% organic, local, and predominantly vegetarian.
Our buffets also feature local specialties, such as charcuterie, cheese, and pâté, to cater to a variety of tastes.
Inspired by diverse flavors and driven by our love for sharing food, we ensure that every meal is a true celebration for the senses.
In a middle of the week, one evening there is no dinner and no class — a perfect moment to explore Albi, Millau, or enjoy a French restaurant.
We’ll provide all the information you need to make the most of this special evening.
For an aperitif… or simply because
And because a tango week is also about enjoying a drink together after class or lingering around the table, we have a small selection of drinks and snacks available to buy on site.
You will find bottles of red, rosé and white wine, as well as a few soft drinks such as alcohol-free beer, Ice Tea, Schweppes and Coca-Cola and beers of course.
And for those little moments in between, we also have Magnum ice creams and a few bags of crisps — perfect for an aperitif, a relaxed afternoon, or simply when you fancy a little something.
Nothing fancy or complicated — just a few essentials to make those shared moments at La Frayssinette even more enjoyable.
Of course, we can accommodate food allergies as much as possible. Please keep in mind that meals are prepared for the entire group rather than individually. Don’t forget to mention any allergies in the questionnaire, and we’ll do our best to meet your needs.

Program of the Tango week.
Here, the tango week has its own rhythm.
In the morning, we meet on the dance floor for the first workshop.
The afternoon is yours.
It is the perfect time to practice, take a private lesson, go for a walk, explore the area, take a nap under the trees, head down to the river… or simply make no plans at all.
In the evening, we meet again for the second class after the dinner.
Then the dancing continues with the milonga.
As the days go by, you see the same faces around the table, on the dance floor or by the river.
People from different countries meet, dance together, share meals and spend their evenings together.
That is also what a tango week at La Frayssinette is about.
Each week includes 10 tango workshops :
- Morning classes start from 10h30 - 12h (depending ont he weather, can satrt a bit earlier.)
- Evening classes satrt from 20:30 to 22:00.
⚠️The first class takes place on the day you arrive just after the dinner.
The last one the evening before you leave.
⚠️In a middle of the week, there will be no dinner and no class after it. The perfect moment to discover the beauty of the region. Visit Albi, Millau, Toulouse, or the Gorges du Tarn… or enjoy a French restaurant nearby.
We will provide you with all the information you need to make the most of your free evening.
Time to eat !
- Breakfast is served at 9 am until 10h30 (when the class is starting)
- Lunch is served at 12h until 13h45.
Teh breakfast and the lunch is a convivial and generous buffet.
- Dinner is a three-course meal served at the table and starts at 19h.

The rooms in the gîte and the forest cabanas offer different spaces and different experiences. We have therefore chosen to adjust the prices so that they better reflect the different types of accommodation.

👉🏼 For our tango weeks, bookings are made for two people.
Are you coming with your dance partner, whether you are a couple in everyday life or not? Perfect!
Priority is given to people who are already booking as a pair, as this makes it easier for us to organize the accommodation and respect the capacity of each space.
✦ Would you like to come on your own?
We completely understand that you may want to join a tango week even if you don't have a dance partner yet.
In that case, we recommend contacting the teachers of the week you are interested in directly. They may be able to help you find a partner among other dancers who are also looking for someone to dance with.
On our side, we will be happy to add you to our waiting list and contact you if a possibility comes up.
✦ What if you dance together but aren't a couple?
No problem at all.
Depending on the accommodation, we can separate the beds so that two dance partners can share a room or cabana without having to sleep in the same bed.
If you don't know each other yet, we can also arrange shared accommodation with another woman or another man in the same situation, whenever this is possible.
Of course, this depends on the bookings we have already received and on availability at the time of your registration.

We always do our best to adapt to different situations and find an arrangement that feels right for everyone.
And so far, after three years of tango at La Frayssinette, it has always worked out really well. 😊

By completing and submitting this booking form, you will receive a confirmation email from us within 2 days.
This email will confirm that we’ve received your request and will provide the next steps to finalize your Tango Workshop booking.

Payment Details :
Upon submitting your booking form, you commit to making an initial account payment of €570 per couple, or 285€ per person within 7 days. To make this transfer, you will have all the details in the following mail after we receive your booking form.
Your booking is only confirmed once the account has been received.
The remaining balance can only be paid by cash upon arrival. You will receive all the details in the confirmation email.
