Tango La Frayssinette
Every summer, La Frayssinette becomes a home for Argentine Tango.
We welcome dancers from all over Europe / World and internationally renowned teachers, all gathering in the middle of a peaceful, green valley.
Classes are mostly taught in English, but no need to be fluent — the experience is accessible to everyone.
Céline & Alberto’s July workshops are even taught in English, French and Italian, making them ideal for all dancers.

Tango Holiday Weeks in a Stunning French Valley
Immerse yourself in the rhythm of Tango in the heart of a lush, peaceful valley in southern France.
Throughout the week, you’ll enjoy 10 inspiring workshops, homemade vegetarian meals, and long, quiet afternoons resting or swimming in crystal-clear natural pools shaped by rocks and waterfalls.
You’ll stay in one of our charming accommodations —
a cozy room in the gîte or a wooden cabana tucked gently into the greenery —
each offering its own private outdoor space to unwind, breathe, and feel held by nature.
As the days unfold, evenings drift softly into nights of dancing under the stars, embraced by music, warm air, and the joyful energy of an international group that quickly begins to feel like family.
La Frayssinette is more than a place to dance.
It is a place to breathe, reconnect, rest deeply, and live moments that stay with you long after summer ends.
Dancefloor : Where you will enjoy your practice
Right next to the main house, a covered wooden dance floor opens onto a breathtaking view of the valley.
This intimate and enchanting space welcomes dance couples from all over Europe, creating a warm and cosmopolitan atmosphere. With its international character, the workshops are primarily conducted in English.
Spending a full week with the same teachers allows for progressive learning, deep focus, and true human connection.
Accommodation in our green valley :
At La Frayssinette, each space is gently woven into the landscape.
Some rooms are nestled in the main house, close to the large kitchen that opens onto a sunny terrace and the dance floor overlooking the valley.
Further down, wooden cabanas are scattered throughout the forest, each with its own private outdoor corner to rest, breathe, and enjoy the quiet of nature.
Below the houses, the river unfolds like a hidden gem — flowing over flat rocks, forming natural pools and small waterfalls where you can swim, cool off, or simply linger in the sun.
Staying here means more than finding a place to sleep.
It’s stepping into a peaceful rhythm, sharing simple moments, meeting people from all over Europe, and creating memories that often feel like the beginning of a new family.

We want your arrival at La Frayssinette to feel simple and effortless.
Each cabin and room has its own private shower, toilet, and outdoor space, allowing you to enjoy the calm of nature from the moment you wake up.
As we are currently renovating the main house, some gîte rooms may not have their balcony this year — but we are doing everything we can to restore them before the summer season begins.
If you have a favorite room or cabana, you’re welcome to mention it in the booking form. We always try our best to accommodate everyone’s wishes, depending on availability and the balance of the group. The earlier you send your request, the more likely we can reserve the space you prefer.
You’ll also find an option in the form to rent bed linens and towels. They are available for €10 per set and €10 per towel per person. If you choose to bring your own, we will send you the bed dimensions two to three weeks before your arrival.
It is also possible to book a cabana the day before your arrival if that feels easier for you — the additional cost will simply be added to your stay.

Homemade meals
During your stay at La Frayssinette, we are committed to offering a culinary experience that reflects our values: simplicity, authenticity, and joy. Each day, enjoy a french breakfast, a generous buffet-style lunch, and a three-course dinner.
The meals in your plate are :
- 95% homemade,
- 100% organic, local, and predominantly vegetarian.
Our buffets also feature local specialties, such as charcuterie, cheese, and pâté, to cater to a variety of tastes.
Our passion for cooking was warmly received during our first experience in 2024, with several participants suggesting we publish a recipe book! Inspired by diverse flavors and driven by our love for sharing food, we ensure that every meal is a true celebration for the senses.
On Wednesday evening, no dinner and no class — a perfect moment to explore Albi, Millau, or the Tarn Gorges and enjoy a French restaurant.
We’ll provide all the information you need to make the most of this special evening.
Of course, we can accommodate food allergies as much as possible. Please keep in mind that meals are prepared for the entire group rather than individually. Don’t forget to mention any allergies in the questionnaire, and we’ll do our best to meet your needs.

Program Tango Workshops
Each week includes 10 tango workshops :
one every morning from 10:30 to 12:00, and one every evening from 20:30 to 22:00.
The first class takes place on the day you arrive, and the last one the evening before you leave.
After the evening workshop, the dancing continues with our warm and friendly milonga, where you can enjoy the night at your own rhythm.
Your afternoons are free: practice, take a private lesson, explore the valley, swim in the river, or simply rest in the shade of the trees.
On Wednesday evening, there is no class or dinner — the perfect moment to discover the beauty of the region. Visit Albi, Millau, Toulouse, or the Gorges du Tarn… or enjoy a French restaurant nearby.
Experience levels: C = 2 - 3 years of practice, D = 3 - 5 years of practice,
E = 5+ years intensive regular practice. E+ = Master level

⭐ Special Offer: Two Weeks of Tango
For those who wish to dive even deeper into the Tango experience, it is possible to join two consecutive weeks with the same teachers.
And because staying longer creates a beautiful continuity — in your dance, in your body, and in the group — we are happy to offer a special gift :
Your accommodation between the two workshops (two nights, worth 190€) is offered by us.
During these two transition days, meals are not included, and the space is entirely yours.
You can rest, cook, explore nature, swim at the river… and simply enjoy the quiet beauty of La Frayssinette before the next week begins.
It’s a gentle way to stay in the energy of Tango while giving your body and heart time to settle…
and a wonderful opportunity for a deeper, more immersive summer experience.
Price Tango Hollidays
We are updating the price and we are telling why.
The gîte rooms and forest cabanas offer different spaces and we wanted the pricing to be more fair and transparent for everyone.
We also made small adjustments due to rising food costs, so that we can continue offering local, organic, and homemade meals without compromising quality.
These changes allow us to stay aligned with our values :
care, fairness, and sustainability — for the place, for you, and for us.
All prices below include :
✔ Accommodation in the chosen room or cabana (you will have the choice when you will fill in the form)
✔ All meals (including a +1€ per meal per person adjustment, i.e. +16€ for the week)

By completing and submitting this booking form, you will receive a confirmation email from us within 2 days. This email will confirm that we’ve received your request and will provide the next steps to finalize your Tango Workshop booking.

Payment Details :
Upon submitting your booking form, you commit to making an initial account payment of €570 per couple, or 285€ per person within 7 days. To make this transfer, you will have all the details in the following mail after we receive your booking form.
Your booking is only confirmed once the account has been received.
The remaining balance of €820 per couple, or 410€ per person, can only be paid by cash upon arrival.
